BIG
WALL
A
course that will introduce the climber to the complex
world of multi-day ascents: big walls.
The
course emphasizes big-wall techniques including leading,
pendulums, jugging, hauling, anchors and bivouacs.
Additionally,
safety and efficient climbing techniques will be reinforced.
Focus will be on clean aid.
PRE-REQUISISTES
Previous leading experience is required.
An assessment of your past experience with Aribira is
required.
Aribira past students are welcomed on joining this course.

TRANSPORTATION
The
course fee includes transportation to and from your
hotel in Zona Sul of Rio to Urca.
A surcharge fee and special
arrangements need to be arranged for clients staying
in Santa Teresa or Barra da Tijuca.
